Aqua Kite School
Aqua Kite School (AKS) is led by Marcelo, a fitness fanatic who loves to kite and surf. Marcelo has over 10+ years of experience surfing and kiting across the Americas and Asia. Marcelo is also a diving instructor and photographer, which helps his students get excellent photos during their lessons!
Marcelo is IKO certified and uses a structured methodology, focusing on safety, personalized technical progression, and excellence in training for both beginner and advanced students. Here at AKS, we refresh our equipment every year, so we always have the best kites on hand for students to learn.
We are located on Preá Beach & Barrinha, one of the best kitesurfing spots in Brazil, with warm water and strong, consistent winds blowing for around seven months of the year (from June to January). The beach has calm, flat-waters making it easy to learn and progress as a beginner.
We like to schedule students during the best wind hours (usually 2 lesson slots per day, morning and afternoon) so that students have ideal conditions to learn in.
